Summary: Involved with the receiving of product and transporting pallets of received goods throughout the warehouse by operating an electric pallet jack and shuttling empty pallets and loading of pallets onto trailers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist receiver in moving completed pallets from the receiving area once they are tagged with pallet identification.
- Involved with shuttling empty pallets from warehouse locations and loading them on trailers.
- Assist with the repackaging of damaged goods.
- Shrink wrap product on pallet if necessary.
- Involved with general sanitation throughout the warehouse.
- Use computer to enter records.
- Drive pallet jack to transport items from the receiving area to designated staging areas.
- Perform additional job functions as requested by warehouse management member.
- Follow Company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled.
- Follow Company's safety policies and procedures.
- Operates equipment necessary to complete job safely 100% of the time.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; and Internet software systems.
Certificates and Licenses:
Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification testing on all equipment used to complete this job.
