Your Purpose
Supply Chain Analyst will support merchandising execution of forced distributions and maintenance of max ship allocations. The analyst will also provide analytical support to the Replenishment team, reporting to the Director of Replenishment.
What You’ll Do
- Execute planned Force Distributions weekly for planned merchandising
- Analyze inventory levels on discontinued items and execute forced distributions to stores following category reset timeline
- Assist in managing outbound controls of inventory i.e. Max Ship
- Implement methods to gather and manage supply data on seasonal merchandising displays and in/out products to ensure consistent execution of programs
- Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
- Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with internal and external business partners
- Seek to improve all aspects of the current processes by reviewing current methodology and processes for improvements
- Assist the Analytics Team in maintaining data accuracy and data quality in merchandising source systems and reporting systems.
- Analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
- Understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes and ability to use replenishment and pricing systems as needed to support role
- Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes
- Professional communication skills are essential when working with suppliers and merchandising teams
- Conduct special projects to analyze complex operational and financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action for the merchandising team.
- Publish and maintain business intelligence reporting, dashboards, and scorecards to accurately identify trends and opportunities across the following areas:
- Inventory planning and control
- Vendor reporting/projects
- Replenishment reporting – ad hoc & scheduled reporting
- Business performance versus forecast and goals
- Profit performance versus forecast and goals
- Operational controls
- Promotional planning and evaluation
- Space planning and management
- Product Assortment planning
- Customer behavior and category interaction
- Understand how data is captured and maintained, specifically as it relates to business activities and processes.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Store Operations and Warehouse Operations regarding seasonal force out timing.
- Perform root cause analysis on force out discrepancies and implement actions plans to resolve
- Perform other duties as may be required or assigned.

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent or a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Completion of MBA or master’s level coursework.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Soft Grocer inventory software; BICEPS/TRICEPS order processing systems, Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI and Ad Display PIPPA Software
Physical Demands
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
