Summary: Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
Identify orders at random to be checked for selecting accuracy.
Generate supporting documents to compare items packed with customer's order and other identifying data.
Complete supporting documents on a daily and/or weekly basis to record accuracy information.
Notify selectors and/or appropriate management of errors found during audit.
Ensure pallet is removed to appropriate destination by appropriate personnel.
Follow company's safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience; or High School diploma and six months selector experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software; Triceps, Biceps inventory software and Email Internet, internet software.
Certificates and Licenses:
Heavy Industrial Equipment certification
