• Education/Experience - Students actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university college seeking a degree in Supply Chain or Management Information Systems and Computer Science or students actively enrolled in an accredited high school program.
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Computer Skills - A successful Supply Chain intern would need to have experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and be willing and able to code new systems.
Programming experience, with operating system (Linux, Mac, etc.) Programming and Database Administration experience (including classroom experience)
• Language Ability - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. The ability to work with all mathematical concepts/algorithms to such an extent that equations will be interpreted through Data Manipulative Language (SQL) where programs will give the expected output for the customer.
• Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
