Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assist Facilities Management in the regulatory compliance, capital projects, invoice processing and purchase equipment. This includes compiling all information, bids, and cut sheets on all equipment making it available for Facilities management. The position is also responsible for asset purchasing and management from an accounting documentation perspective. This individual will be responsible for all Facilities Compliance documents to include tracking and execution of the documentation process. Compliance encompasses vehicles, EPA, FOG, Backflow, elevators, fire sprinklers, hoods inspections, hood cleaning and other regulatory systems as needed.
Seeking a strong detailed oriented accounting or documentation professional with a strong background in accounting systems and the ability to resolve payment issues and offer resolution.
Tasks:
• Support Facilities Management in purchasing all equipment and services utilized in the Harris Teeter operations.
• Support Facilities Management in compliance tracking, execution, and Reporting.
• Write and process Purchase Orders, including but not limited to assembling bid documentation, accounting audit requirements, asset management, receiving and invoice processing.
• Monitor and schedule deliveries to ensure that goods come in on time, and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
• Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories.
• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support the Facilities Team.
• Compile and sort documents, such as project requests, substantiating business transactions, financial and Compliance reports.
• Review, reconcile, and interpret system data and makes corrections as appropriate.
• Manage and complete period end reporting.
• Assist with invoice rejections in Kofax and Coupa daily.
• Project accounting: Review capital expenditures by project and monitor for adherence to approved amounts and coding to correct project.
• Assists employees, corporate departments, vendors and or customers by researching and responding to inquiries.

• Other assignments as needed within Facilities Management to support our operations teams.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; Associates degree (A.A.) from a 2-year College or university plus two to five years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting or related fields.
Knowledge Requirements:
• Computers and Electronics — Knowledge and working skills with access Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Accounting system software knowledge for research and payment status a plus.
• Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, utilizing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
• English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
