Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school, and one year dispatch experience; or two years dispatch experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and dispatch experience.
Other Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must comply with company dress code requirements
- Comply with applicable DOT regulations (which may include a DOT physical examination), if applicable for your position
- Successfully pass a company road test, if applicable for your position
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word word processing software; Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software;
Certificates, Licenses:
Successfully pass company administered industrial equipment certification
Other Skills and Abilities :
Must display supervisory abilities.
Safely operate and maneuver tractor trailers in delivery application.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Indirectly supervises employees in the dispatcher/driver group. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
