Summary:  Keeps warehouse clean, free of clutter, spills and debris.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Cleans warehouse and outside buildings, parking lots and the property perimeter
  • Mops, sweeps and scrubs warehouse floors and walls
  • Empties trash cans, and bins
  • Cleans offices and restrooms
  • Cleans pick slots and under racking
  • Works safely with approved chemicals
  • Works safely with sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, balers, compactors, pressure washers
  • and pallet jacks
  • Properly scans and processes damaged orphan cases and reclaim items
  • Properly processes plastic and cardboard for recycling
  • Follows Company policy
  • Follows Company's safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other associates of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of TRICEPS

Certificates and Licenses:

Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification Test
