Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field, with at least three years of experience in employee relations and investigations; or four to ten years of related Human Resource experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Human Resource Professional Certification in SHRM or HRCI.
Human resources management experience in a high-volume distribution center /Manufacturing environment
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; Internet software; Human Resource systems; Database software and Contact Management systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsOther Qualifications: Position will be exposed to highly confidential information and must be able to perform work while maintaining confidentiality. Meets or Exceeds Expectations on most recent performance evaluation and specifically in the Leadership components. Must be people-oriented and possess a customer service personality. Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to manage others, and effective training and facilitation skills. Must have effective communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of associates and customers.
